“Ebola is no joking matter… So if u have to be safe… Be fashionable”

Cam’ron posted this caption along with a picture of himself posing with a mask he designed to prevent the spread of Ebola. The mask features the infamous picture of Cam’ron in all pink talking on a pink cellphone.

According to the Harlem rapper’s website, the Cam’ron Ebola Mask ‘provides complete protection while remaining light and comfortable.’ The masks are available for $19.99.

Killa Cam seems to be taking this new business venture very seriously, especially since panic has spread throughout the United States over the outbreak. Many people, especially those traveling by air, have been seen sporting masks and even gloves.

The website describes these masks as a ‘polypropylene outer facing’ offering a ‘soft, fluid protection barrier while cellulose inner facing assures comfort and breathability.’

Ebola has affected about 9,000 victims, most of those being in West Africa.

The United States however, has been on high alert after the first fatality of the disease occurred on October 8.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention however, has made it clear the virus is not airborne and is only spread through contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person who is showing symptoms of the virus

Since then two nurses who were treating the infected patient, Thomas Duncan, have also contracted the disease.

Both Nina Pham and Amber Vinson are in stable condition after treatment for the deadly virus.

President Obama informed citizens in his weekly radio and internet address, ‘This is a serious disease, but we can’t give in to hysteria or fear because that make it harder to get people the accurate information they need. We have to be guided by science.’
