‘SNL’ Veteran, Jan Hooks, Dies at 57

According to TMZ, Jan Hooks, one of Saturday Night Lives biggest personalities has died on Thursday at the age of 57. She died in New York City. Although the exact cause is still unknown, sources close to her claim she was battling a serious illness.

Hooks was part of the ‘SNL’ cast from 1986-91. This was the same time greats such as Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey and Dennis Miller were on the long running show as well.

She was most famous for being half of the Sweeney Sisters and for her impressions of Sinead O’Connor and Hillary Clinton.
