Why Running Is One Of The Best Methods Of Exercising

Running is one of the best methods to get in shape. You can run indoors on a treadmill or if you don’t have a treadmill you can just do it outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Out of all the other exercise running has got to be the best for two reasons: it gets you in shape physically and mentally.

For every mile that you run you burn approximately 100 calories which is a great deal. Running is the cheapest and most convenient way to get in shape. You don’t have to go to a gym and pay a membership or buy a treadmill because you can just do it outdoors. If you do prefer to a buy a treadmill it’s still convenient because you can run in the comfort of your own home. Whether it’s half an hour or an hour that you spend running you are still burning calories. For those short on time you can just do thirty minutes and burn at least 100 calories.

Mentally, while you are running you have time to think to yourself. All you need is a pair of sneakers and you are set to run. You are able to recuperate from a rough day at work, have time to reflect on things you need to do and have to do. Sometimes we all need that time to ourselves to just think and reflect; with no one to bother us or break our concentration. Running gives us that option and that is why I love running and feel that it one of the best exercises that you can do.
