Christina Aguilera Reveals Name of Her New Daughter via Twitter
Pop diva Christina Aguilera is now a mother of two. The four-time Grammy winner welcomed her first daughter and first child with fiancé and movie producer Matthew Rutler. This is the couple’s first child together. Aguilera delivered her bundle of joy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. She was born via C-section reports Us Weekly.
Aguilera tweeted her baby girl’s name Sunday, just one day after news broke of her daughter’s birth. The singer did not give out any other birth details, such as her daughter’s weight or measurement. The tweet read, “So Proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the World.” Aguilera also has a 6-year old son, Max Bratman, from her previous marriage to music executive, Jordan Bratman.
Aguilera confirmed her pregnancy this past February just a week after announcing her engagement to Rutler. They met on the 2010 set of Aguilera’s big screen debut,Burlesque. The star shared a photo of herself on Instagram in the recording studio with headphones over her baby bump just five days before giving birth. “Baby girl getting first listen to what mama’s been creating in the studio.”
Aguilera has been working hard in the studio, she also told V that she’s working on a new album. Prior to welcoming her first girl Aguilera posed nosed for V this summer. “As a woman, I’m proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store,” the 33-year-old pop star told the magazine.
