Beloved Oscar Winner Robin Williams Dies At 63 In Apparent Suicide

Every 90’s kid is truly feeling the pain tonight as news unfolds of beloved actor Robin Williams’ death. The comedian was discovered at his northern California home on Monday at the age of 63. According to Fox News, The Marin County Sheriff’s Department stated, that Williams was found unconscious on Monday around noon. Although there is no certain cause of death, the coroner suspects the death was a suicide due to asphyxia.

According to Williams publicist, the actor has been suffering from severe depression. Williams was best known for his iconic role in Mrs. Doubtfire, Dead Poet’s Society, Jumanji, and most recently for his role on television comedy “The Crazy Ones”. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Good Will Hunting as Dr. Sean Maguire. 

According to the Huffington Post, Susan Schnieder, Williams’ wife released the following statement to the New York Times:

This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin’s death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.
